I have always had an almost irrational passion for swimsuits. Even as a child, I was obsessed with them: the cuts, the materials, the colors… I could spend hours looking for the perfect model.

For me, a swimsuit isn't just an item of clothing: it's a feeling. A feeling of freedom, confidence, and letting go. But one day, I realized that this passion had slipped into overconsumption. I was buying too much, too quickly, too often. Pieces worn only once, forgotten immediately. This realization changed everything.

From this desire to slow down and do things better , Saumo was born: a more conscious, more demanding, more sincere brand. A brand that respects bodies as much as the planet.

All Saumo swimsuits are conceived in the South of France, designed in Paris, and manufactured in Europe, in small, artisanal workshops. The materials are recycled and high-end, notably ECONYL®, a yarn regenerated from plastic waste recovered from the oceans. This Italian Carvico fabric is technical, soft, durable, and fits the body like a second skin, without losing its shape.

I chose high-waisted, low-cut styles , a signature of the brand, because they flatter the legs, accentuate the waist, and suit a wide variety of body shapes . The one-piece swimsuits, on the other hand, are made from a shaping fabric that gently sculpts the silhouette while offering excellent support, without ever feeling constricting.

Yes, the prices are those of a premium product. Because they reflect strong choices : ethical European production, high-performance fabrics, and deliberately limited quantities.

I prefer to create less, but create better . So that each piece has real value, a real lifespan.
